![]() Location![]() The Blacksmiths is one mile off the A593 Broughton in Furness to Coniston road in the Lickle Valley. Although the pub doesn't have accommodation, we recommend the following three websites that offer quality local accommodation: We can also provide details of local B&Bs, camping and cottages for rent. If you are planning to go on a walk from the pub, please speak to a member of the staff before leaving your car on our car park. We have limited space and do experience problems during busy periods. The Lickle ValleyThe Lickle Valley is popular walking country and you will find walks to suit all ranges of ability from gentle riverside walks, forestry walks and more strenuous fell walks. Footpaths cross over the fells into the Duddon valley, or up onto Stickle, Caw, White Pike and onto Coniston Old Man. There are bridle paths used by the local riding centres for horse trekking and mountain bikers find their way onto the quiet open fell land. Guides to walks in the Lickle Valley, Duddon Valley and Woodland Valley are available to buy at the pub. The Blacksmiths Arms site design by bf internet |
